Mason Smith, more commonly known as Airdorf Games, is the developer of the FAITH series, as well as games such as The Wind, Extra Ordinary, Earl's Day Off. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Master's degree in Visualization, and has been part of the games industry since 2014.
In 2017, Smith released FAITH, the first entry in an ongoing horror series. The game was well-received by fans and critics, at one point becoming the top-selling game on itch.io, as well as being listed by IGN as one of the eighteen best horror games of 2017. He has been working as a game developer since then, mostly creating small horror games as commissions for other people, working on his original FAITH series in between these projects.

- Smith is a Christian. FAITH has been accused of being blasphemous by other Christians but he has stated that he believes if God is to be acknowledged, then it is just as fair to acknowledge the Devil as well.[1]
- The name Airdorf comes from the first word he spoke according to his mother
- He has a wife, two children, and a dog, whom he respectively nicknames as Mrs. Dorf and Babydorf I and II and Jane.
- He was formerly a missionary in Argentina, and one of the notes in FAITH: Chapter I is a page from a diary during his time there.[2]
