The Airdorf Truck is a vehicle that appears in every chapter of the FAITH series except for the Chapter II Prologue.
Appearance[]
It looks like your standard semitruck, the only remarkable detail is that it has Airdorf's logo on it. The driver is never seen.
History[]
September 21st, 1987 (Chapter I)[]
John parks nearby Snake Meadow Hill Road to find the Martin House. If he stands on the road for some time, the Airdorf Truck comes barreling through and runs over John, likely because the driver couldn't see him since it's so late at night.

"When Faith Endures" Ending[]
John locates a lone rifle inside the Martin House after battling Amy Martin and watching her leap out of an attic window. John finds her severely wounded, standing in a pool of her own blood. John resists the temptation to shoot her and shuffles back to his car. Just before he enters his vehicle, Michael suddenly comes out of the woodland and tries to ambush him once more. John shoots him in self-defense, causing Michael to cry in pain and incidentally staggers onto Snake Meadow Hill Road. The Airdorf Truck speeds on the road and accidentally runs over Michael, killing him instantly. John's speechless and looms over his corpse.

John enters his vehicle and speeds away from the area. He contemplates if he did the right thing as he drives, which could be interpreted as either leaving Amy to bleed out by herself in the forest or for shooting Michael, indirectly causing his death.
September 28th, 1987 (Chapter II)[]
A week passes after John's second failed exorcism (Chapter I) and experiences his worst nightmare yet.
As John crawls throughout the Unseen World as a Wretch, he somehow comes across an underpass nearby a sewage system nicknamed the Candy Tunnel by Sterling locals[1]. On top of the underpass lies a traveling couple trying to repair their truck. Occasionally, the Airdorf Truck barrels down the road, but doesn't run over anybody.
"Initiation" Ending[]
To acquire the UNSPEAKABLE's blessing[2], John has to crawl up an incline as the Wretch and kill the couple. The couple are swift and capable of running away. Additionally, the truck is considerably much faster compared to Chapter I, it's very easy to get ran over. If John ever messes up this condition to receive his blessing, he can intentionally get ran over and restart back in the Unseen World.

October 28th, 1987 (Chapter III)[]
Father Garcia mails an instructional letter to John[3], telling him to investigate a clinic Amy used to intern. John parks at his destination and attempts to sneak inside the building since there's a lone police officer blocking the entrance. He'll have to cross the road, however, and it's capable of him to get ran over by either the Airdorf Truck or a thrall speeding in their Bronco. Otherwise, this is the last time the truck is seen.

Trivia[]
- The truck's branding is an easter egg referencing Airdorf himself, the creator of the FAITH series.
- The truck design itself is a reference to the Peterbilt 281/351 utilized as the main antagonist in the 1971 Psychological Horror TV Movie DUEL[4] (Shoutout to wiki editor EdwardJSmithTitanic for finding the tweet).
- The truck is the only object that can kill John as a Wretch. If he gets ran over, we're shown a unique death screen of a jumbled mess of blood. Instead of the usual "Mortis" sound effect, John mutters "Mortem" with heavy distortion and bit-crush.
- This jumbled mess of blood might be a detailed look of his corpse.
- "Mortem" used to be a sound effect used in beta versions of Chapter I before it was replaced with "Mortis" in 2017 (minus the distortion audio effect)[5].

- The Steam Achievement "¡Pendejo!", acquired when you get ran over by the Airdorf Truck in each chapter, is a reference to one of Michael's voice clips in the introductory section of Chapter I when Father Garcia attempts to exorcise him.
- Apparently, Airdorf posted a tweet far before Chapter III's release in 2022 where the Airdorf Truck performs one of Super Miriam's attacks with the song Megalovania from the game Undertale playing in the background. Airdorf jokingly stated that this was the "Final Boss" but so far we're not able to find this tweet, so take this trivia with a grain of salt.
