Demon Hands are entities that appear in FAITH: Chapter II.
They act as barriers that prevent John Ward from progressing until an objective is complete.

September 28th, 1987[]
In John's nightmare, he finds himself at Gallup Cemetery. When John encounters the Umbilical Cord Demon, the Mist Demon, and the Graveyard Maze Demon, rows of these demon hands will appear across the exit to their arenas, preventing John from escaping. Once the demons have been vanquished, the hands disappear.
In Snake Meadow Hill Church, if John chooses to bring the doomed child to the confessional booth, the Mirror Demon arena will be surrounded by demon hands.
Later, in the basement of the church, John comes across a dark room with symbols placed on the ground, with another row of demon hands blocking the path. Using the image of the clock with symbols in the previous room, John is able to figure out the correct path over the symbols and avoid being killed by the UNSPEAKABLE. Upon successfully reaching the end of the puzzle, the hands will disappear.
Further on, John enters the Home of Malphas. In a room to the east, there is a final row of demon hands blocking off the next room. John must find and exorcise a portrait of Miriam Bell on the wall to remove them, while avoiding contact with the Blind Ones.
