An Easter egg is an intentionally hidden message or feature in a piece of media. FAITH: The Unholy Trinity contains a number of Easter eggs in the game.
FAITH: Chapter I[]
Nasus[]
If John walks 4 screens to the right from his car, the gray figure can be seen standing behind a tree. Approaching it will cause it to run away and drop a clown nose which John can pick up. The nose is labelled "nasus" in the pause menu inventory, and does not serve any function for the rest of the game.
The Hunter[]
The article seen after completing Ending 4, "The Hunter", mentions that a deer typically yields 75 pounds of meat, but John could only take 25 pounds back with him to the car. This is a reference to the 1971 video game The Oregon Trail, which contains a hunting minigame that shares a similar artstyle to FAITH.
FAITH: Chapter II[]
Nasus[]
The clown nose makes a second appearance in Chapter II during the opening flashback. After Michael breaks free from his restraints, Father Garcia can return to his bedroom where his closet is now open. Entering the closet and walking behind the door will cause him to pick up the nose. It similarly serves no purpose, and is removed from the inventory when the flashback is complete.
Note 17[]
Thanks Cracked Ghost Games
Note 17 is found in Snake Meadow Hill Church after defeating the Spindly Lady and descending the hidden staircase to the basement, containing the final memoir of Father Clarke. Reading the first letter of each line in the note, it spells out "Thanks Cracked Ghost Games", as a thank you message for CrackedGhostGames for designing the Spindly Lady.
Sewer Count:[]
Upon entering the Candy Tunnels, the player is granted a Steam achievement named "Sewer Count:". This is a reference to a running gag by Civvie, a YouTuber.
Sewer graffiti[]
Dusk cult symbol
In the Candy Tunnels, there is various graffiti on the walls:
- The symbol of the cult in New Blood's game, DUSK.
- "pelo", the Spanish word for "hair", likely a reference to YouTuber SrPelo.
FAITH: Chapter III[]
Clinic graffiti[]
Outside the clinic, there is various graffiti on the sides of the buildings:
- The faces of White Face from IMSCARED, W. D. Gaster from Undertale, and Uboa from Yume Nikki.
- "T9", a possible reference to YouTuber/Twitch streamer Thafnine.
- A Helix Fossil from Pokémon, which became an internet meme through Twitch Plays Pokémon.
- Morse Code which reads "NO BOYS". This could be subtle foreshadowing that the Martin Twins do not actually exist, or at the very least are not in the clinic.
- A mushroom, possibly a reference to the Vineshroom logo from Vinesauce Vinny (who is also listed under Special Thanks in the game's credits).
- The "Cool S".
- Text reading "In the balls", referencing the "Pee is Stored in the Balls" meme.
- A stylized letter T, a reference to TorpleDook (listed under "THE INNER CIRCLE" in the game's credits).
Beelzefest flyer[]
Outside the clinic, John can find a flyer advertising an event named "Beelzefest". The man that appears on the flyer is a traced-over photo of YouTuber Justin Whang.
Jacob's Ladder[]
In the clinic, when John is subdued by Jeffrey, a cutscene plays of him strapped into a gurney being wheeled down a hallway. The shot of the gurney's wheels is a direct rotoscope of a scene from the movie Jacob's Ladder.
Loss[]
Loss
In the clinic, one of the curtains in the basement will have a set of symbols written on it in blood, reading "I II II L". These symbols are a reference to the Loss meme originating from a strip in the webcomic Ctrl+Alt+Del.
"finders" audio[]
In the New Haven Apartment Complex, after John collects the camera and the power goes out, if he doesn't move for one minute, the game will start playing audio files of Airdorf whispering random excerpts from a declassified FBI document into the microphone[1]. If John starts moving during this playback, it will immediately stop.

"The MPD file contained three documents which appear to be reports prepared by an unidentified U.S. Customs Service (USCS) Agent. These documents include a memo dating 2/7/87, a memo dated April 13th, 1987, and an undated document captioned 'Finders/Chronology'. The names of the USCS SA and the MPD detective are not contained in these documents as they were deleted prior to review by the FBI."
2.[]
"The USCS SA accompanied the MPD on the execution of search warrants, at 3918/20, West Street, Washington D.C. at which time he was able to observe and access the entire building. No children were located during the search. The memo notes that during the execution of the search warrants by the MPD, the USCS SA reports having observed large quantities of children's clothing and toys, several computers, and numerous documents. '...Cursory examination of the documents revealed detailed instructions for obtaining children for unspecified purposes. The instructions included the impregnation of female members of the community known as 'Finders', purchasing children, trading, and kidnapping...'"
3.[]
"The memo notes that on February 6th, 1987, the USCS SA had met an MPD detective at the warehouse on 4th Street. He was granted unlimited access to the premises, and he was able to observe numerous documents which described explicit sexual conduct between the members of the community known as 'Finders'. The memo reports that the USCS SA saw a large collection of photographs of unidentified persons, some of which were nude, and believed to be members of the 'Finders'."

"At the meeting, the detective advised that no evidence of a Satanic cult was found at either residence in Washington, D.C. He was concerned about information he received from three separate sources concerning the basement of the house. He indicated that there had been a hole dug in the walls or the floor of the basement, for unknown reasons. He stated that their reason for being in Tallahassee is to interview the children and see if they have any information."
5.[]
"Regarding the deception in general, the mothers indicated that they don't wish to give out information about the group in that a lot of people don't take time to understand them. They indicated that they don't particularly have anything to hide but they don't feel obligated to explain about themselves. Some of the mothers pointed out the group has suffered from the latest news blitz which identifies the group as Satanic and sacrificing. They vehemently deny those accusations and said they were better off to say little or nothing than give information that could be misconstrued."
6.[]
"The central question being asked is: Did the CIA have an association with this group and did it try to shut down their [state and local officials'] investigation of child abuse for the purposes of protecting one or more of its operations?"

"The tunnel proceeded south, then east 45 feet through Classrooms 4 and 3, and north, then east 10 feet within Classroom 4. Tunnels were 30" wide, 44" to 46" deep, with top of the tunnel 30" under the classroom floor. The footing between Classrooms 3 and 4 were arched where the tunnel passed underneath, and 12" shorter in depth at this location than same footing 12 feet to the north. Four large, upright containers were found in the tunnel under the arch, obviously hand-placed."
8.[]
"A 9 foot wide chamber was found along the tunnel under Classroom 4. The top of the chamber and top of sections of the tunnel had layers of plywood covered with tarpaper that had apparently been supported by cinder blocks, and 2" x 2" and 2" x 4" wood posts found underneath. Tunnel features made it evident that the tunnel was hand-dug."
9.[]
"A small, white plastic plate with three pentagrams hand-drawn on top with light-green paint was found by the archaeologists in the stratified dirt in the play yard. Per historical archaeologist, pentagrams were hand-drawn by an adult and not part of the manufacturer's design."
10.[]
"No doorknobs were on Classroom 3 door, only a dead bolt lock. Each classroom had on and off light switch labelled 'Fire Alarm'. System did not connect to fire station, but was used as an alert within the school. More than 2,000 artifacts were found under the school floor, including over 100 animal bones."
11.[]
"She thinks she's found the perfect diet. The perfect way to control her weight. She may eat very little. Almost nothing. Nearly starving herself at every meal. Or, she may eat huge amounts of food. Then purge. And start all over again. Either way, she's in trouble. The diet she thinks is controlling her weight, is really controlling her. And the strain it puts on her heart and body may even be killing her."

"U.S. passport showing travel by subject to North Korea, North Vietnam, and Soviet Union from 1956 through 1975 was turned over to State Department Security for investigation, but investigators were advised that travel was 'legitimate' and to terminate further investigation."

"100-43190-127 page 26, 29. Probably identical. The investigation of the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee, circa 1964; by its own description, the SNCC was, quote: 'an agency attempting to stimulate and foster the growth of local protest movements,' close quote. The FBI was investigating the organization because of numerous (although tenuous) connections to the Communist Party."
14.[]
"The Fair Play for Cuba Committee (or FPCC) was later described as a pro-Castro organization that had sponsored pro-Castro street rallies and mass picket lines, and run a propaganda mill highlighting illegal travel-to-Cuba campaigns. However, it was only active a short time, because, quote: 'ultimately, the bad publicity which the FPCC received from disclosure of activities on its behalf by suspected presidential assassin, Lee H. Oswald,' close quote, led to its demise."

"The investigator then asked about some of the games that they play. The child described one game as taking off the man's clothes then putting them on, then going through their pockets for money. When this investigator asked about the man, if all their clothes were off, both children said 'No', and they stated that they only removed the man's jackets. Another game was described as taking a shirt that had holes in it and running away with it and tearing it up. Both children advised that the women had come downstairs at Christmas time with no clothes on. Both children felt that this was very funny and went along with the concept of it being a game."
16.[]
"This investigator attempted to interview both suspects. They were read their rights per Miranda and asked to sign an acknowledgment, both refused. Suspect asked what the charges were, he was advised of the charges of child abuse. Suspect laid on the floor of the holding cell and jerked his body. He refused to open his eyes or acknowledge his investigator."
Daycare drawings[]
In the daycare center, the children's drawings contain references to other Airdorf and New Blood titles:
- Tyler's drawing of his uncle Earl is a reference to Airdorf's game "Earl's Day Off".
- Mason's drawing of the boy collecting mushrooms is a reference to Airdorf's game "Summer Night". Mason is also Airdorf's real name.
- Arsi's drawing depicts V1 from New Blood's game ULTRAKILL. Arsi is also the name of the creator of ULTRAKILL.
Gary ambush[]
In Garyland, when Gary ambushes John attempting to solve a puzzle, Gary's running animation closely resembles an infamous scare from the movie The Exorcist III.
Injection visions[]
In Garyland, when John is given the injection by Gary, a long cutscene consisting of vivid imagery is played, emulating John's hallucinations under its influence. Many of the images displayed during this cutscene are a direct reference to the lyrics of the song "King of Pain" by The Police.
Gloomy wooden table[]
In Garyland, a small table can be found near the corner of one of the rooms. If John approaches it, he silently remarks, "I don't like the look of this gloomy, wooden table." This is believed to be a reference to Gloomwood, another game published by New Blood.
Gary's Shack[]
Hidden in the Nowhere Forest, Gary's Shack can be found.
- Inside the shack, a photo can be found on the desk, featuring Gary standing alongside two villians from other New Blood titles, those being Jakob from DUSK (left), and the mysterious character seen at the end of Fallen Aces: Episode 1 (right).
- A note can be found addressed to Jakob about how Gary has no interest in following along with his evil plot, as well as thanking Jakob for the pet he gave to Gary that he now keeps outside his private quarters.
- Upon leaving the shack, the previously mentioned "pet" will come out and attack John. This entity is the Horror enemy from DUSK.
