The Elevator Friend is a secret Demon that appears in FAITH: Chapter III.
Appearance[]
The Elevator Friend has a rather grotesque appearance, with his body seemingly very fleshy and bloody, with long and spindly arms. He only has one eye, a large black socket on the left side of his face, and he always seems to have a wide, toothy smile. He stands a whole head taller than John, putting him at approximately seven feet tall.
Biography[]
Before October 29, 1987[]
Timmy, a resident of the New Haven Apartment Complex, repeatedly mashed on the button for the seventh floor in the elevator and summoned the Elevator Friend. After witnessing this, he drew two pictures of him, labeling him as his friend.
October 29, 1987[]
Following the notes left behind by Timmy, John summons the Elevator Friend. Once he appears in the elevator he will randomly appear in the apartment halls by hiding on the walls or breathing heavily to notify the player that the Demon is nearby. There is now a 15% chance upon entering most halls and some rooms that the Elevator Friend will be standing somewhere in the room/hall. He will attempt to kill the player but raising John's crucifix to him will make him flicker out of existence.
In each note depicting Elevator Friend, drawn by Timmy, there is a sequence of numbers in Roman numerals. Inputting these numbers into the elevator in the sequence of 1, 4, 2, 6, 2, 10, 5, 1 after beating the fight against Alu-possessed Lisa, will unlock the 7th floor where you can encounter him guiding Timmy somewhere. It is later discovered in Chapter 3 that Timmy had been killed, and his remains can be found in apartment 7A.

Trivia[]
- A certain sprite on the FAITH: Chapter III's sprite sheet looks very similar to the "Elevator Friend". He also appears in the game's teaser trailer.
- It is unknown why the Demon did not kill Timmy despite killing John when given the opportunity to do so; perhaps Timmy had actually befriended the monster somehow.
- It is unknown whether or not the Elevator Friend is a normal demon or perhaps a tulpa.
- This is the only character in the entire FAITH series whose dialogue is not synthesized mostly by S.A.M.
- It appears to be a human voice processed through some kind of bit-crushing software, giving this Demon a unique phonetic quality.
- Although one may first believe that the Elevator Friend had killed Timmy based on him being seen leading the boy somewhere, upon closer inspection in the room where Timmy's corpse can be found there is also pink flesh the color of the Elevator Friend all over the ground. This could hint at the Elevator Friend being killed alongside Timmy.
- The Elevator Friend's "Elevator game" is actually based on a real game in Korea.
