Extra Ordinary is a short retro-inspired game developed by Airdorf. It is a promotional tie-in game for the 2019 film of the same name.
The game features a small collection of minigames which loosely follow the plot of the film.
Synopsis[]
Rose Dooley gets a call from Martin Martin to see what's up with his daughter, Sarah Martin.
Martin's House[]
Arriving at the Martin's House[1], Rose finds that there are ghosts haunting all of the furniture. After dodging the furniture, Rose finds Martin with his daughter, who is floating above her bed. Martin Martin suddenly begins puking up ectoplasm, which Rose collects in a jar.
Country Lane[]
Rose attempts to catch one of the ghosts to have it possess Martin, all the while dodging haunted recycling bins. Martin begins puking ectoplasm again, which Rose collects in a jar.
Farm[]
Sarah has found herself at a farm, and Rose must protect her from an onslaught of exploding goats until the timer runs out. By collecting holding spells lying around, Rose is able to throw them at the goats to defeat them. She can also throw a holding spell at Sarah to stop her from moving for a while. Suddenly, Martin is there and begins puking ectoplasm again, which Rose collects in a jar.
Winter's Castle[]
Christian Winter has captured Sarah and is en route to his castle to sacrifice her. Rose follows behind them and sends out a magpie to attack Winter's car and save Sarah. Afterwards, Rose catches up to Winter in his castle, who has just finished some kind of ritual to summon a horrible demon. The game ends here.
