Jeffrey is a demonic creature that appears in FAITH: Chapter III.
He appears as the main boss of the Clinic.
Biography[]
Like most demons throughout the FAITH series, little is known about Jeffrey. He takes on a humanoid form, but is completely blood-red, has a droopy head, uneven feet and hands, and beady eyes. He demonstrates great strength by being able to break through boarded-up doors, windows, and other objects throughout the clinic, as well as being able to withstand being shot up to five times.
October 28th, 1987[]
John Ward is instructed by Father Garcia to investigate the clinic that Amy used to intern in hopes of finding Nate and Jason Martin, as well as the summoning location of Malphas. When John arrives, a police officer is blocking the entrance, so he must sneak in through a window.
Inside the clinic, John finds a fax by Gary addressed to his secretary, Rhonda, which mentions that she should keep Jeffrey out of sight. Deeper in, John sees a door with wooden boards over it. He finds a crowbar in a nearby supply closet and attempts to use it on the boards. Suddenly, Jeffrey breaks through the door and subdues John.
When John comes to, he finds himself in an operating room in the clinic's basement, somehow strapped to a gurney. He hears Jeffrey's wails from outside of the room, and manages to wheel himself behind a curtain, out of sight. After waiting for Jeffrey's back to be turned towards a corpse on another gurney, he quickly wheels his way out of the room and into the hallway.
In the hallway, Jeffrey's screeching is heard again. John manages to hide among a collection of corpses on gurneys. When Jeffrey leaves, John is rescues from his restraints by the police officer, who plans to take him in for questioning once they get out of the clinic.
Before leaving the basement, John is able to head back into the operating room, where a glimpse of Jeffrey escaping into a vent in the wall can be seen. Upon leaving the basement, another glimpse of Jeffrey can be seen ducking out from behind a broken window.
As John and the officer approach the front door in the lobby, Jeffrey suddenly bursts in through a window and engages the two in battle. John's cross is not able to hurt Jeffrey, only slowing him down. To defeat Jeffrey, John must attempt to slow him down so the officer may get a clear shot. Upon being shot, Jeffrey will cry out and flee through a window, later bursting in again through another one. Once the cop shoots Jeffrey five times, he finally dies.

During John's fight with Gary in Garyland, he has a chance of summoning apparitions of past foes, including Jeffrey.

Trivia[]
- The track that plays upon Jeffrey's reveal is titled "HeresJeffrey". This is more than likely a reference to the line "Here's Johnny!" from the movie The Shining.
- Jeffrey is unique to most demons in that when killed, he leaves a corpse behind.
