Sandra Attwood is a minor character that appears in FAITH: Chapter II.

She was a low-ranking cult member in the Eternal Order of the Second Death, before being ritualistically murdered along with two other thralls.

Biography[]

Before September 28th, 1987[]

After becoming pregnant, Sandra would begin receiving nasty looks from the people around her, all except for a strange woman she would see across the street from the doctor's office, who would just stare and smile at her. After Sandra miscarried her child, she saw the woman standing on her path while she was walking, who had become visibly pregnant herself. The woman beckoned Sandra off the path into the woods, where she would meet Gary Miller and be coerced into joining his cult, the Eternal Order of the Second Death.

One day, Sandra, along with two other cult members, Troy Ingles and Angel Nogales, were eventually chosen to be sacrificially killed for an unknown purpose. The three were congregating within a tomb in Gallup Cemetery before they were stabbed multiple times by their fellow cult members. Each of their corpses were dragged into the nearby woods, placed in a ritualistic circle, and decapitated.

The Sterling Police Department eventually discovered the bodies and performed an investigation. A newspaper article was later published to the community of Sterling, Connecticut about the police report. The article stated that three young adults were found deceased a couple miles off of Gallup Cemetery, believing the act to be part of some sort of paganistic ritual.

September 28th, 1987[]

Sandra and the two other thrall victims appear in John Ward's nightmare after he had read about their murder case in the newspaper article prior. The three are found sitting silently in the Save Family Tomb in the center of Gallup Cemetery. When John is later confronted by a demon with a fleshy appendage, he defeats it and it drops a note outlining a woman's plight and initiation into Gary's cult. If John returns to the tomb at this point, Sandra is no longer there.

Later, John finds the bodies of Sandra, Troy, and Angel in the middle of the woods, all beheaded with visible stab wounds, and placed into a ritualistic circle with the newspaper article in the center. After the article derails and starts calling out John directly, he looks up to see the three victims suddenly stood up, surrounding him with their bodies ablaze.

Trivia[]

  • It is unknown exactly which of the three thrall corpses in the ritualistic circle belongs to Sandra.
  • The first letters of the first and last names of the three thralls in a specific order: Sandra-Angel-Troy, Attwood-Nogales-Ingles, spell out "SATANI", Latin for "SATAN". Airdorf confirmed the intentionality of this Easter Egg in the FAITH Fan Community Discord Server[1].
  • Three stick dolls can be seen above the entrance to the Candy Tunnel. These could be the bodies, spirits, or just representations of Sandra, Troy, and Angel.
