The Shadow Crawler is a mysterious entity that only appears in the FAITH: Chapter II Prologue.
Appearance[]
The Shadow Crawler is a tall, shadowy character with white eyes and has a tall, bulky build. There is redness underneath its eyes, likely representative of blood.
Biography[]
Between September 22nd - 27th, 1987[]
During John's nightmare, when he enters a room with a painting of Saint Mary inside the Snake Meadow Hill Church, the Shadow Crawler can be spotted quickly hiding underneath a pile of rubble.
John later enters another room with a purple skull and a confessional booth. The Shadow Crawler can briefly be seen outside a window, and will quickly duck away when John enters the room.
Later on, John will unlock the trapdoor to the basement. Finding a flashlight, John will enter the next room and encounter the Basement Demon. While fighting off the demon, there is a chance to see the Shadow Crawler standing in the darkness, among other things. After vanquishing the Basement Demon, the Shadow Crawler never appears again.

- The Shadow Crawler originates as a monster from the indie game Shadowcrawl, developed by a friend of Airdorf.[1]
- Similarly, Michael Davies appears as a boss in Shadowcrawl.
