The Skeletal Figure is a demonic entity that appears in FAITH: Chapter III.

Biography[]

This entity resembles a giant skeleton hanging down from the ceiling. Its ribcage appears to extend upwards infinitely, with no legs being visible. It has a face resembling that of a clown, with red curly hair, a big red nose, a red smiling mouth, and black hollow eyes.

October 31st, 1987[]

Deep within Garyland, John Ward is met face-to-face with Gary Miller, the leader of the Eternal Order of the Second Death. After a brief conversation, the two engage in battle.

During the fight, Gary has a chance to summon this figure, which slowly creeps in from the top of the screen. It will move side to side for a bit until it is directly above John, where it will then extend its spine to hit him. When this happens, John will get knocked down and drop his cross. If he doesn't grab it in time, Gary will catch him and perform the Second Death ritual on him.

This entity cannot be repelled by the cross. Over time it will go back to the top of the screen and disappear. However, avoiding this figure can be a pain because it takes up almost half the screen while Gary continues to attack. A strategy could be to intentionally get hit by Gary or this creature so that it can despawn. However, the placement of John's cross varies and might screw you over.

After Gary has been weakened enough, Father Garcia will appear and shoot him with his shotgun. This skeletal figure doesn't appear again.
