(I modified the list as for the Airdorf's comment in the Maria Gulyakova (formerly HopeJesus55)'s video. I also added "In Too Deep", which I think may be right, given that Phil Collins was referenced multiple times. "Live to Tell" is a pretty clear Madonna reference, and "Don't Dream It's Over" is a Crowded House song.)

Initially the reward for getting this achievement was minimal, with the (at the time) gag option of disabling demons being unlocked. However, in version 1.4, a reward for the achievement was added titled the "No Demons World", more detail on that can be found on [[John Ward#October 31st, 1987 ("No Demons World" Mode)|John's page]].

As you play FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, you earn achievements through Steam. This page is dedicated on every achievement available and how to get them.

FAITH: Chapter I

Take Me Home

House

Description: "Enter the house once again."

The Plan: Simple, go inside the Martin House. Find the key in the shed nearby to unlock the front door.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "Take Me Home" by Phil Collins[1].

Woah, Here She Comes

Amy steammm

Description: "Come face-to-face with Amy."

The Plan: Inside the Martin House, come across Amy. She appears when you walk to the basement and stand around the inverted cross covered in blood.

Trivia:

  • This unique version of Amy is from an earlier build of Chapter I, before Airdorf had implemented rotoscope animation for cutscenes.
  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric from the song "Maneater" by Daryl Hall & John Oates[2].

The First Time, The Last Time

Pent

Description: "Finish what you started?"

The Plan: Defeat Amy in the attic of the Martin House.

Trivia:

  • This version of the pentagram doesn't seem to be used in-game. The one Amy, Miriam, and John draws have extra symbols on them.
  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric from the song "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins[3].

One Thing Leads To Another

Drivin

Description: "Reach any ending of Chapter I"

The Plan: Simple, just get any ending. The game tries to coerce you to get the "Murderer" Ending where you shoot Amy after she jumps out of the attic.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "One Thing Leads To Another" by The Fixx[4].

Gone Too Far

Gold cross

Description: "Find all endings in Chapter I"

The Plan: Like what the description says, find all endings. For all of these endings you have to pick up the rifle after defeating Amy, because if you don't have it and return to your car then Michael will rush and kill you instantly, regardless of if you use the crucifix or not. Here's the list:

Ending 1 of 5 "Murderer": Shoot Amy. Returning to the car and driving away, a state trooper pulls you over. A news article is shown about how John impersonated as a priest to gain Amy's trust to kill her.

Ending 2 of 5 "Father and Son": Shoot the gray figure standing outside the shed near the house. Walk back to your car. While reciting a prayer, Michael interrupts John and strangles him to death from the backseat. A letter is shown detailing Father Garcia denying Cardinal Gifford's request to return Michael to his parents.

Ending 3 of 5 "The Offering": Shoot a dead fox in the middle of a pentagram. Returning to the car and driving away, a cultist holding a trident stand in the middle of the road. A note is shown about Gary asking Amy to come over at the abortion clinic she interns at for a get-together with her coworkers.

Ending 4 of 5 "The Hunter": Shoot a deer eating grass nearby the house. Going back to the car and driving away, the screen cuts to black when John's about to hit a deer. The screen fades to a bloodied and half-alive John crawling to retrieve his crucifix. One of the deer that's surrounding him stands up on its hind-legs and rushes John. A news article is shown about Sterling locals finding a mangled body nearby a crashed car.

Ending 5 of 5 "When Faith Endures": Do not shoot anything you come across. Walk back to your car. When you see Michael crawling up to you, shoot him. He'll stumble, get ran over by a truck, and the game ends on a high note. John returns back to his house alive and contemplates if he chose the right thing of leaving Amy to die in the forest.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric of the song "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring[5].

Shattered Faith

Mirror

Description: "Find and defeat the secret boss of Chapter I"

The Plan: The secret boss is the Mirror Demon. After defeating Amy and picking up the rifle, go to the left (Mr. and Mrs. Martin's Bedroom). Fire the gun at the mirror three times (every time you fire the rifle respawns where you found it originally) and a red hand drags you into the mirror. Banish the demon and read the note dropped to get the achievement. Defeating the demon is simple, move accordingly and keep a distance between the demon. It will teleport occasionally.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the title of the song "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz[6].

I Don't See Under My Feet

Flashlight

Description: "Finish Chapter I Flashlight Mode"

The Plan: As said, complete Chapter I in Flashlight Mode. From start to finish you can only see what's ahead of you from the flashlight you're holding. It may take time, but you'll get the hang of it.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric from the song "I Can Dream About You" by Dan Hartman[7].

Livin' Only For the Night

Lantern

Description: "Finish Chapter I Lantern Mode"

The Plan: As said, complete Chapter I in Lantern Mode. From start to finish you're stuck with the lantern and it's difficult to see anything. But hey, if you could beat Flashlight Mode then you could beat this.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "Self Control" by Raf, more commonly known by Laura Branigan's cover[8].

FAITH: Chapter II

Three Months of Hell

Garcia

Description: "Discover Father Garcia's Backstory"

The Plan: Simple, just play through the intro of Chapter II normally; watch Michael run away after partially eating a bystander.

Trivia:

  • This picture of Garcia holding his shotgun comes from "A New Purpose" Ending of Chapter III.
  • The title of the achievement is a reference to Michael being held captive in Garcia's apartment room for three months.

Save Family Legacy

Smile

Description: "Solve the riddle of Gallup Cemetery"

The Plan: Just play through Chapter II normally; defeat the Mist, Umbilical Cord, and Graveyard Maze Demons. Return to the Save Family Tomb and stab yourself in the eye to pick up a key. Go upward and open the lone fence with a padlock. Unlocking it earns you the achievement.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement might allude to the fate of the Save Family? We never see them in-game and the actions we do to unlock a gate might be a reference to what happened to each member of the family. This is a big stretch, though.

Who's Watching Me Now?

Snurch

Description: "Reach the basement of Snake Meadow Hill Church"

The Plan: Just play through Chapter II normally; banish the Spindly Lady inside the church. This unlocks the seal leading to the basement.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell[9].

Sewer Count:

Candy

Description: "Enter the Candy Tunnel"

The Plan: Just play through Chapter II normally; after returning back to normal after traversing through the Unseen World as a Wretch, walk inside the tunnel that says "candy tunnel" in red marking.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to YouTuber Civvie 11's "Sewer Count" running gag.[10]

Crashed Your Party

Demon

Description: "Enter the hidden sanctum"

The Plan: Just play through Chapter II normally; follow the thrall's trail after banishing the Basement Demon. You'll pop into the sanctum (also known as Malphas' House).

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric of the song "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel[11].

These Dreams Go On

Eyes

Description: "Survive the nightmare"

The Plan: Just play through Chapter II normally; defeat Miriam. A cutscene of the UNSPEAKABLE coming out of her body plays and then a close-up of John's eyes. You'll get the achievement.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "These Dreams" by Heart[12].

Tonight Always Comes

Silver cross

Description: "Get all endings of Chapter II"

The Plan: This one's more dynamic than the last chapter, but there's only three endings instead of five. Here's the list:

Ending 1 of 3 "Go Forth With Faith": You have to keep Father Garcia alive during the fight against Miriam in Malphas' House. If he dies at any point just restart. You also cannot perform any of the conditions required for the "Initiation" ending (you have to intentionally go out of your way to do the conditions so don't worry about accidentally doing it). Waking up, John reads a letter from Father Garcia that they have to find the Martin Twins before "they" use them to summon Malphas. Driving in his car, John monologues that his nightmares are getting worse, but he has to stop Malphas' summoning.

Ending 2 of 3 "Road to Redemption": This is the neutral/default ending if Father Garcia died during the fight against Miriam or if you performed one or two of the conditions required for the "Initiation" ending. If you do any conditions, it doesn't matter whether Garcia lives or dies. Waking up, John reads a letter from Father Garcia that his soul can still be saved and has to stay vigilant because "they" are watching him. Driving in his car, John monologues if he truly did the right thing in his dream and wonders if finding the Martin Twins can help him find what he's looking for. Driving away, a thrall in a truck follows him.

Ending 3 of 3 "Initiation": You have to complete all conditions to get this ending, and here's the order:

  1. In Gallup Cemetery, after John stabs himself with a key, walk all the way back to the five rocks you first started controlling him and make a pentagram on the ground with the trail of blood (The note that was dropped by the Graveyard Maze Demon gives a hint on how to do this). Once it's done, a demon lunges after him from the woods. You have to banish this demon before continuing. If John opens the gate to exit the cemetery, he stops bleeding, and you cannot perform this action. (If you do this accidentally, just close the game and restart before the game automatically saves when going inside Snake Meadow Hill Church).
  2. After defeating the Spindly Lady inside Snake Meadow Hill Church, exit the church and walk towards the cornfield in the background. When a purple child approaches you, turn around immediately (The note dropped after exorcising a scarecrow gives hints on what to do). If you look at this child at any time it will run away, but you can always go back to the cornfield and try again. Walk back to the confessional booth in the church. Walking towards the open curtains will cause a disembodied gray hand to take the child. If you try to leave, the hand will take you as well. The Mirror Demon makes its reappearance from Chapter I and has the same attack behavior. However, at some point, it will turn into a silhouette and goes towards you. You can tell where it is by seeing the outline from the gray skeletons on the floor. With enough time, the demon will be defeated, and you will be teleported back inside the church. Make sure you do this before solving the puzzle with the UNSPEAKABLE, when you leave the church through the basement you can't return to the church or the cemetery again.
  3. After reading a newspaper article and melting into a Wretch, crawl throughout the Unseen World until you come across a bridge. When you do, don't crawl forward and go down instead. Going up the incline, you have to kill the traveling couple that are trying to repair their car. You have to kill both to complete the goal; letting any of them escape will cause a failure and won't get the ending. If you ever fail, an Airdorf truck will always speed by on the road. Get run over by it so that you can retry the sequence again. Reset if you turned back into regular John again prematurely, because entering the Candy Tunnel will save automatically.

With this, you're all set. Defeat Miriam like usual. Also, you don't have to pick up the exclusive note to get this ending, it's just an extra.

Waking up, it appears that John is still dreaming. Picking up a patient release form from Dr. Spinel and walking to his back door, the screen fades to John standing in the middle of a pentagram. Cultists and Gary stand in the background. The UNSPEAKABLE slowly ascends from above. John's hollow eyes begin to bleed and the game ends.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a direct reference to the song "Later Tonight" by the Pet Shop Boys[13].
    • John sings lyrics to the song in the trailer for Chapter II[14].

My Little One

Scarecrow

Description: "Finish the Chapter II Prologue"

The Plan: Simple, just get any ending. Fastest way is to go into the room with the seated thralls from earlier. Miriam fades in with the Martin Twins and the game ends.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to Miriam saying "MY LITTLE ONE" when getting this ending.

Made of This

Wretch

Description: "Find all Chapter II Prologue endings"

The Plan: This achievement already assumed you got the ending with Miriam and the twins. The other ending is more dynamic. To do this, after banishing the Basement Demon, walk all the way back to the scarecrow. With close inspection, the scarecrow has two red eyes. Exorcise it to remove them. Afterwards, return to where your crashed car was. It's on fire, so light yourself on fire and run all the way to the scarecrow before dying yourself. As the scarecrow burns and children gather, you spawn in the Unseen World as a Wretch. Crawling around, you'll come across Miriam staring at other Wretches. She turns around and the game ends.

Trivia:

  • This title has double meaning; it cements the fact that John truly is a Wretch after escaping from Snake Meadow Hill Church as an orphan and also is a reference to the song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Eurythmics[15].

Jane Approves!

Doggy

Description: "Get the top score in the Chapter II Prologue"

The Plan: This one's complex. Exclusive to the Prologue, there's a score system that you can see by pausing the game. There's 666 in total and you are earned points by seeing an event, reading a note, banishing a demon, and entering a new location. Although you can do all of these things, you have to get the ending with seeing Miriam in the Unseen World to get full points. Here's the to-do list:

  • Walk to the right and see the thrall in their crashed truck
  • Go back to the crash and see a blood trail from the truck
  • See the thrall running away into the cornfield
  • Defeat the Cornfield Maze Demon
  • Read the note from exorcising Greta
  • Read the note from exorcising the St William statue
  • Enter Snake Meadow Hill Church
  • Read the note near the entrance
  • Banish the Chalice Demon
  • Read the note near the sealed basement (Do not skip this, it will despawn after warding off a thrall)
  • Read the note after exorcising the Virgin Mary portrait
  • Ward off the thrall that's rushing towards you
  • Read the note after warding off the thrall (Do not skip this, it will despawn after warding off a second thrall)
  • Ward off the thrall that's rushing towards you from the confessional booth
  • Read the note nearby the basement after warding off the thrall from the confessional booth
  • Exorcise the window stained-glass painting of the Second Death ritual
  • Enter the basement
  • Pick up the flashlight
  • Banish the Basement Demon
  • Pick up the note after banishing the demon

And the rest is like before; burn the scarecrow and find Miriam in the Unseen World. Essentially, do everything feasible in the Prologue.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement comes from Airdorf's pet dog named Jane. She was formerly found in the Goodies Folder of the game as well.

FAITH: Chapter III

Beezlebaby

Bab

Description: "Investigate the clinic"

The Plan: After killing Jeffrey, return back to the clinic and get on the gurney. Waiting around for a bit with a bunch of corpses, a cutscene plays and you drop down a staircase. Defeat the Mother and Child demon in the next room and read Gary's note congratulating you.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the Beezlefest music poster found outside the abortion clinic, which is in itself a reference to Beezlebub, a major demon in Christianity and Jewish religion.

Rent and Utilities Due Friday

Due friday

Description: "Investigate the apartments"

The Plan: This one's more complicated. After banishing Alu, play the Elevator Game. In the elevator, input these codes: "1, 4, 2, 6, 2, 10, 5, 1". When you press one, the lights will automatically go to 7, indicating you performed it right. Go inside one of the two rooms on the floor and defeat Tiffany. Read the congratulatory note from Gary to get the achievement. To leave the Unseen World version of the 7th Floor, go down the hole that says "damnatio memoriae" to get you to the real 7th Floor. Then, take the elevator as normal back to Floor 1 to leave the building.

Tip: If, at any time, you see the Elevator Lady enter with you while playing the Elevator Game, go to the first floor and leave immediately. Retry the game again.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a note written by Gary, in which he reminds his tenants that rent and utilities are due on Friday.

Searcher

Yippee

Description: "Investigate the daycare"

The Plan: Simple, inside the Daycare Center, solve the puzzle to enter Garyland.

Diving In Too Deep

Moloch my beloved

Description: "Go into the belly of the Beast"

The Plan: Simple, retrieve the three artifacts in Garyland to open the lock on Moloch. To do this, play Red Light Green Light with the Blind One, defeat the Mirror Demon, and avoid the Plagas Cultist after grabbing the artifact. Essentially, play as normal.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement might be a reference to the song "In Too Deep" by Genesis[16].

I'm the Cult of Personality

Cult of personality

Description: "Defeat Gary?"

The Plan: Defeat the first encounter against Gary. He summons apparitions of your previous foes, brings down a rain of spiders, and summons a gigantic clown-skeleton entity to knock you down. But you got this, just be careful.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to the song "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour[17].

The Mother, the Daughter, and the Unclean Spirit

Malphas seal

Description: "Finish the Unholy Trinity"

The Plan: If you were following the achievements from earlier, you already would've defeated the Mother and Child demon and Tiffany. Next up is the Unholy Spirit, who is easy to summon. In Garyland there's two portraits of Miriam. Walking back and forth her portrait changes into a different pose. With the third change, the Unholy Spirit is summoned and slowly makes a beeline towards you. Keep distance and you'll be fine. But, if it touches you, it brings you to a flashback when John was in the Yale Psychiatric Institute. Exit the institution while avoiding the spirit to escape alive.

It's My Destiny

Bronze cross

Description: "Find all endings in Chapter III"

The Plan: Stated from before, get all the endings in Chapter III. Besides finding the Unholy Trinity bosses, the endings are simple to get. Here's the list:

Ending 1 of 3 "A New Purpose": Defeat all Unholy Trinity bosses to remove the seal on the Crucible. This means you have to defeat the Mother and Child, Tiffany, and the Unholy Spirit. If you've been following the achievements earlier, you should be able to do this. Inside the Crucible, defeat Super Miriam to get the best ending.

After defeating Super Miriam and exorcising Amy, John and Father Garcia walk out of the Daycare Center. Although John has defeated a powerful demon, the UNSPEAKABLE still lingers. Garcia needs more spiritual warriors like John so that he can go to war with the UNSPEAKABLE. Suddenly, Lisa comes out and tells John that he doesn't have to fight anymore and can stay with her. At this point, John has a choice between fighting demons with Father Garcia or start a life with Lisa. Either option rules the same result; John and the person they chose drive in his car to a new location, ending the series on a high note.

Ending 2 of 3 "A New Journey": This is the neutral/default ending. Do not defeat all of the Unholy Trinity bosses and play the game as normal. There is a slightly different variant of this ending if you never decided to enter the New Haven Apartment Complex to save Lisa, accidentally kill her while possessed by Alu, or never go to the basement to see Amy mimicking Father Allred's voice in a nightmare.

Due to the Seal of the Unholy Trinity blocking the path, John and Father Garcia were forced to seal the Crucible so that demons would be temporarily halted. Walking back to Garcia's car, John breaks down and tells him that his faith will never be as strong due to getting tricked by the Devil. However, Garcia convinces him to join him against the UNSPEAKABLE, saying that his journey is just beginning. They drive to an unknown destination and the series ends.

If, however, Lisa was never saved or killed, here's the alternate: When Garcia tells John that he's needed for the war against the UNSPEAKABLE, John cuts him off. He says that he's probably not the person fit for the job, saying that he's done some horrible things and needs time to figure everything out. Pissed off, Garcia says that it's not a request and aims his shotgun at him. Garcia forces him to get in his car and they drive off to an unknown destination.

Ending 3 of 3 "A New Vessel": This one's simple; return back to your house when you drive to the Daycare Center on Oct. 30th. Skipping out on going to the Abortion Clinic and New Haven Apartment Complex is optional and not required to get this ending.

Waking up from a nightmare, John's house has a different atmosphere. Walking to a door covered in crucifixes, he decides that he needs to go inside of it one last time. Going into the basement to grab his key, John goes inside the door. Besides a psychiatric note, Amy stands in the middle of the room. John kneels and asks Amy why he's being targeted, but his face gets grabbed by a demonic hand and she says "UNFORGIVABLE". Teleported to The Forest, John explores the deteriorated Martin House. Entering inside the Martin Twins' room, John kneels and throws his hands up in defeat. Michael and Amy hold his hands still as a demonic hand grabs him. He, Amy, Michael, and the entire house disappears, and the series ends.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to a lyric of the song "King of Pain" by The Police[18].

General

Lore Master

Lore

Description: "Collect all notes."

The Plan: Simple (in context), collect all notes. Look at the wiki page for the notes to see every location.

Touched For The First Time

Mortis steammmm

Description: "Die for the first time"

The Plan: Difficult, die at any time throughout the series. You got this!!

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement is a reference to lyrics from the song "Like a Virgin" by Madonna[19].

Master of MORTIS

Master of morty

Description: "Die 100 times"

The Plan: More tedious than difficult, die 100 times. The quickest way to do this is complete Chapter I to unlock Turbo Mode. Start a new game with Turbo Mode set to x4. Starting the game, get run over by an Airdorf truck immediately. Another one you could do is stand in the middle of the forest and wait for Michael to kill you, but that can take a while and the amount of time Michael comes varies. Another option you could do is, against Gary underneath the Crucible, start the fight and don't do anything. He slowly comes over to kill you each time.

Trivia:

  • The photo for this achievement comes from the 10th time you get hit by Super Miriam.

Good Christian Boy

Really hard fr

Description: "Finish Marathon Mode, good endings only, without dying once"

The Plan: The most difficult achievement to get from this whole list. Due to how frail John and Father Garcia are to mischievous demonic activities, they all die from one hit. Completing the entire Chapters without getting killed can be difficult, and even I (Screamin' 'n Hollerin') haven't gotten it due to how hard it is. You have to play through all three Chapters in one sitting, you cannot close the game and resume playing. You'll have to restart all the way back to Chapter I. Getting killed at any time means you have to restart all the way back to Chapter I as well. With how long Chapter III can be to get the good ending, I can only provide basic tips that could help:

  • Boss Practice: This is the biggest one. Although a lot of things can kill you, Amy, Miriam, and Gary + Malphas are very difficult boss fights due to the number of attacks they have and how erratic their movement is. Before starting Marathon Mode, make separate save files for each boss.
    • For Amy's, it's best to keep practicing her 3rd phase due to how dangerous she becomes. The game automatically saves when Amy jumps out of the attic so restart immediately when the cutscene plays of her demonic hand going back inside of her, it means that the fight is over.
    • For Miriam's, it's best to practice her 3rd phase. Although her first phase can kill Father Garcia, her 3rd phase is the most difficult due to her large pool of attacks. Thankfully, the last autosave is when the 3rd phase begins so you don't have to worry about restarting quickly like Amy's. For a more detailed boss description, check the wiki page for Chapter II.
    • For Gary's, the game's last automatic save is when the fight begins. His true form, Astaroth, is the most difficult because he occasionally dashes quickly in four directions or puts seals in front of you to corner you. When Malphas joins, it is a little bit more difficult due to him throwing three arrow-like projectiles. But fortunately, he stays idle for a long time and they both share the same health pool so you can mostly target him. When they combine with Miriam to become Super Miriam, the fight gets a bit easier because you can take ten hits before dying instead of one. It's still easy to get hit but the biggest issue is getting over Astaroth.
  • General Practice: Just practice the key parts that might give you trouble besides the three bosses mentioned earlier. Here's some issues that you might deal with that aren't big/major bosses:
    • Mist Demon: Be aware of your surroundings and try to keep a distance between the demon and the mist around you. Its health is very low so you could brute force it and banish it before it tries to move.
    • Spindly Lady: Just be careful when walking between rooms. Walking from one room to another three times in quick succession will get you killed immediately.
    • Basement Demon: Stay still whenever it says, "Here I come!" so that you won't accidentally bump into it. Take your time and try not to actively look for it.
    • Three Blind Ones: In Malphas' House, you have to exorcise a portrait of Miriam while warding off three Blind Ones. You can gather all the Blind Ones in one corner to easily manage while focusing on the portrait or use your crucifix to make them run away faster.
    • Elevator Lady: If she ever walks into the same elevator with you, do not look at her or bring out your crucifix at all. Leave immediately.
    • Elevator Friend: It likes to hide undetected in the ceilings. It might give audio cues, or it might not. Be on the edge and get ready to bring out the crucifix when needed. You don't have to beat this demon to play the Elevator Game, you can play it whenever.
    • Alu: Biggest issue is keeping Lisa alive. She likes to be near you no matter if you're possessed or not. Keep a distance between you and her the best you can. When you're possessed, it seems like you're pulled towards her like how a planet orbits the sun. Point your controls in the opposite direction and move left to right occasionally to not hit her.
    • Plagas Cultist: Don't exorcise them. Their default variant is slow and easy to avoid. If they do, however, become big and fleshy, keep a large distance and exorcise it with caution. You can escape their grab if there's enough space between you and them.
    • Mirror Demon: Watch the mirror carefully and exorcise the vines on the mirror so that you can move faster. You'll know when the demon is very close when the screen bleeds and fanfare starts to play.
  • Look at Speedruns: There may be more optimization you can do against certain demons to help you understand how they work. However, you're not on a time limit, so you can take as long as you want.

With all these in mind, this achievement will likely take you the longest to complete. Take time and practice is key.

Initially the reward for getting this achievement was minimal, with the (at the time) gag option of disabling demons being unlocked. However, in version 1.4, a reward for the achievement was added titled the "No Demons World", more detail on that can be found on John's page.

Trivia:

  • The picture used for this achievement is taken from getting hit 5, 6, and 7 times from Super Miriam.

¡Pendejo!

Idiot

Description: "Get run over by the Airdorf truck at least once in all three chapters"

The Plan: Self-explanatory, get run over by the truck in all chapters. Here's the location:

  • Chapter I: As soon as you begin, stand on the road. The truck comes over and kills you.
  • Chapter II: After turning into a Wretch, crawl all the way up to an area with a bridge. When you do, go down. Crawl up the incline and you'll be on the same level with the traveling couple. Stand on the road and you'll get ran over. It's very fast so you don't have to wait too long.
  • Chapter III: After parking nearby the Abortion Clinic, stand still on the road and get run over. Fun fact: This truck is a lot faster than Chapter I and it's very easy to get ran over by it.

Trivia: The title of the achievement comes from one of Michael's lines with Father Garcia - or it's just Airdorf calling you a dumbass for taking a semi to the face.

Don't Dream It's Over

Don't Dream It's Over

Description: "Unlock Survival Mode"

The Plan: To unlock Survival Mode, you have to find all good endings in each chapter and finish the Chapter 2 Prologue.

  • Chapter 1: When you get the gun, walk back to the car. When Michael comes for you, shoot him.
  • Chapter 2: You need to keep Father Garcia alive during the Miriam boss fight. You also cannot perform any of the conditions to get the "Initiation" ending.
  • Chapter 3: To get the good ending in Chapter 3, you need to defeat all three secret bosses and defeat Super Miriam.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement might be a reference to the song "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House[20].

Live to Tell

Live to Tell

Description: "Finish a Survival Mode run"

The Plan: Just finish Survival Mode once.

Trivia:

  • The title of the achievement might be a reference to the song "Live to Tell" by Madonna[21].

This tab is just for general things. Big shoutout goes to Maria Gulyakova's YouTube video[22] on all the possible references for the title of the achievements, a lot of these references would've been completely vague to me. However, some of the references were wrong and got corrected by Airdorf himself in the pinned comment.
